My favorite sport is volleyball. I have been playing for four years now. I have been becoming much better. My team did win most of our games because of our teamwork. I am the one who usually do spikes during the game because of how tall I am. I chose to play volleyball because I wanted my height to be useful in what I do. At the end of the season we would get medals for our hard work in participating and showing teamwork throughout the year.
The instrument I play is piano. I have played piano since I was 10 years old. I enjoy playing piano because it is classical. I am at level 4 basic piano. When I finish level 4, I have One more level until I am in advanced piano.
I go to an American Heritage Girls troop where I learn how to cook, sew, volenteer, and many other activities. I get to earn badges and sell see's candies. We camp every summer at different areas to do outdoor activities like archery, hiking, horseback riding, and others. We have a ceremony every two months to get all the badges we earn. I have gotten the cooking, sewing, scientist, archery, music badges. I am about to earn the horseback riding badge after taking the classes. We do 20 hours of volenteer work every month and I really do enjoy helping others. I would volenteer at a retirement center. During christmas we knock on every door and sing to the old.
I have been in a Indian fashion show. It was my first time and I had to go to practices on how to walk and pose. At first, I did not really want to go in front of many people and show off my dress but then it turned out to be really fun. I felt glad that I joined. After the fashion show, they called us one by one to get our awards. I was in a magazine; I did not imagine I would be on a magazine. I realized that even though you do not want to do something, you should try it out and see how it turns out to be.
I used to do a Indian classical dance called Barathnatium. I have been dancing since I was 8 years old. We would get a award after our dance for our dedication to the dance. This type of dance is very difficult because there is alot of foot movement but I still did my very best in every single dance I did on stage. I did not want to give up.
I have won the Christian Character award in my school before. At the end of the year, the teacher would decide who would get the award. There is a ceremony of awards at the end of the year...
